Preferred Hotel in Brussels

We have negotiated preferred rates for our guests at the hotels listed below. You will notice the rates drop considerably during the weekend. Be advised that accommodations at preferred rates are limited. We recommend booking before the 15th of April.

At the Hotel Amigo (a "Leading Hotel of the World") "weekend rate" means Friday and Saturday. The negotiated rate includes an American buffet breakfast, a value of 28 Euros.

At the Le Plaza and the Ibis Hotel Brussels Off Grand Place "weekend rate" means Friday, Saturday and Sunday. At the Le Plaza breakfast is not included in the rate. At the Ibis Hotel you can chose.

To give you an indication of the cost of the rooms, we have included a dollar amount for the hotel rates quoted in Euro. Please keep in mind these are approximate and that currency rates fluctuate. For exact pricing, please go to the currency converter found in the Traveling section.

These rates are inclusive of VAT, Service and taxes. Breakfast is not included. Breakfast rates are 27 Euro for an American buffet breakfast with champagne or 18 Euro for a Continental breakfast.

Maximum number of guests to a room: three. The cost for a 3rd guest is 25 Euro.

Comments: When staying Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat. and when averaging out the week/weekend rates it comes to about $150.00 per room/night. The neighborhood is somewhat colorful but the accommodations are superior.

The Le Plaza Hotel was erected in 1930, simultaneously with the creation of the thoroughfare linking The Gare du Nord (Train station North) to the Gare du Midi (Train station South). The architect, Michel Polak, was inspired by the "Four Seasons George V" hotel in Paris. The hotel is considered as a monument in Brussels, especially for its unique venue, the Theatre, listed for its architectural value. After 20 years of closing, the current owner, Baron van Gysel de Meise decided to return the building to its original purpose and undertook extensive renovations works leading to the reopening of this Grand hotel in 1996. The interior design was confided to Pierre-Yves Rochon, who has lovingly preserved the essence of the character and refined elegance of the original hotel. The only difference between classic and deluxe rooms is the square footage. Bathrooms and furnishings are the same. Upon reservation of a deluxe room you can also request a quiet room or room with a view.

Rates are per room per night, including VAT, tax and service charges. An American buffet breakfast is included.

The Ibis Hotel Brussels Off Grand Place is a basic two star hotel but very well situated in the city centre (just off the Grand Place) The rooms are climate-controlled and pets are accepted.
